What heating and cooling systems are currently the most energy efficient. After talking with others on the web, I found the answer. The largest unit on the market have a high SEER rating. There are good and not so good. I would stay away from Goodman units. Units are cheap but low SEER ratings. American Standard, which is the cheaper version of Rheems is good. It all depends on what you want to pay for one. Rheems and Carrier comes with all the bells and whistles, but you'll pay for them. I like to keep things pretty simple units. In other words, one that does a good job of cooling and heating in the case of a heat pump and do not cost an arm and a leg to run.
